Chinese are still investing in the Australian real estate market, as coronavirus spreads. Chinese are looking at healthy countries with health security to invest in and Australia meets all the criteria.

“After the epidemic, we expect healthcare to be even more important to buyers. Countries like Thailand, the US, the UK, Canada and Australia, which have good healthcare systems and highly ranked abilities to react to viral outbreaks, are likely to benefit from an increase in buyer activity.”
Mr Chmiel said.

A Juwai report showed a dramatic increase of 8.6per cent in Chinese interest in Australian Real Estate from the start of 2020.

Another article by News Corp Australia told of a greater increase in Chinese investment in the Real Estate market.  “Mining, real estate and transport were the key investment sectors, at 24.5 per cent, 21.6 per cent and 13.6 per cent respectively” News Corp Australia.
