Melton Three Eynesbury CFA members completed the Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb on September 7th, racing up 28 floors of the Crown Metropol Hotel, in their full firefighting gear – an extra 25 kilograms each person.
The climb intends to raise awareness and funds for mental health charities. The trio had already raised $2000 for the event charities, before even completing the climb.
The Melton Council takes pride on their involvement in community events and charities, and this is a perfect showcase of that.
