State Budget for future commitments in Melton

Melton City Council has welcomed hopes from the State Budget for future commitments in Melton. 

These include a proposed local TAFE facility and new schools in Rockbank, Aintree and land being acquired in Brookfield for a future Brookfield Primary School.
Train passenger capacity will also be increased by up to 50% at peak times.

The government will also begin stage on of the new Melton Hospital utilising its earlier commitment of $70 million.
