Melton A new childcare centre is set to be built in Melton, despite concerns of congestion at the building site – the corner of Coburns Road and High Street.
A planning permit has been approved to build a two-storey centre, which will accommodate up to 146 children, ensuring that the community is prepared accordingly for the expected continual growth in the Melton area.
Councillors have said that they are aware of the concerns regarding congestion at the site, and are willing to review the traffic management plan if necessary. However, they ensure that the council have done their best to manage the car parking area at the site.
