Melton Andrew Ingham was a member of the Eynesbury CFA for many years, but he is now making it his purpose to grow the team at the Rockbank CFA, due to the brigade consisting of only one sole responder – Derek Ramsay.
The pair are intending to grow the team to 30 volunteers, searching for members that work locally so that they are able to attend call-outs during the day. They’ve also stated that they’re “keen to see some female recruits”, to even out the gender balance.
As Melton continues to grow, so does the involvement of the community, making for an incredibly welcoming atmosphere.
