Cobblebank Train Station is On It’s Way

Works commence for new train station in Melton

Construction work is now underway for Melton’s newest train station, Cobblebank Station.

Located in the Atherstone estate, this will give locals a convenient link directly to Melbourne’s Southern Cross station and take pressure off Melton South train station.

Cobblebank station will be located in the middle of Melton South Train station and Rockbank Train station, the new station is set to include two platforms connected by pedestrian link, sealed car parking, drop off zones, secure bicycle facilities, bus interchange with shelters, security CCTV and waiting room with toilets.

Construction on the station has already begun and is set to be complete late 2019.

Perhaps now is the time to look at buying or investing in the Atherstone estate.
