Melton 
If you are a Melton local or just visiting for the day. Melton has plenty of things for you and your family to do without breaking the bank.
1. Photos with Santa
Woodgrove is arguably the main hub of Melton. Featuring a massive selection of shops, plenty of places to eat and a great movie theater. Plus during school holidays Woodgrove often hosts plenty of events and activities for the younger ones. From now until Christmas Eve you can stop by and get your Photo taken with Santa.
2. Live Music
Melton will feature plenty of live music performances throughout November and December at the local Amphitheater, on the corner of High street & Palmerston street. With an outdoor ping pong table and shaded seating, it’s well worth visiting. For a full list of performances, click here.
3. Melton Food Truck Park
On the first Friday of each month, come on down to Navan Park and check out the local Food Truck. The park has plenty of activities for the younger ones, and it’s a great chance to try some new food. For more information check out their event page.
4. Melton Waves
With this summer shaping up to be a hot one, there’s no better place to cool off. With an indoor wave pool and outdoor pool, there is plenty of room. For more information on opening hours, visit here.
5. Visit the Botanic Garden
Cared for by local volunteers. The garden features a large array of native flowers and plants. The garden has previously been featured on ABC’s Gardening Australia show. For more information, visit their website.
