It’s that time of the year again! Djerriwarrh Festival is a massive highlight on the Melton District’s calendar and it is just around the corner! On Saturday the 7th of November be prepared for a massive day of family fun and activities.
Each year, at the start of November Djerriwarrh Festival is held and has been running consecutively for 36 years. The highlight of the annual event is a vibrant parade of local groups and organisations from the Melton district. From schools to sporting clubs, the local fire brigade and more!
Before or after the parade, venture through Melton’s vibrant main street, with offices and shops handing out a range of free goodies for the whole family.
Melton Recreation Reserve will be hosting a show case ring with a range of different expo’s on the day after the parade, including a pet expo, car expo and more! A main stage will host a variety of different entertainment acts right throughout the day. There will also be a carnival running throughout the day and night, full of exciting rides for all ages, different international foods and finishing off with the main fireworks at 10 PM.
